The establishment conference of the Hard Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, initiated by Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co., Ltd. (CASH), CAS Star Incubator Co., Ltd. (CAS Star) and other alliance members, was convened in the conference center of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone on May 28th. More than 500 people attended the conference, including Mr. Ding Zhiming, Vice Chairman of Beijing Haidian District People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Wang Rufang, Deputy Director of the Zhongguancun National Demonstration Zone Management Committee, Mr. Chen Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of CAS affiliated Enterprises Committee of CPC (Beijing) and Deputy General Manager of CASH, leaders from the government and enterprises, entrepreneurs, and scientists in cutting-edge science and technology area .

In his speech, Mr. Chen Xiaofeng said that all members of the Hard Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, including CASH, would be committed to building an ecological network of hard science and technology industry, serving and supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of hard science and technology, and accelerating the development of the industry, so as to create an influential ecosystem of hard science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship, and to maintain the rainforest ecology of hard science and technology entrepreneurship by pooling resources together.

The Hard Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, co-initiated by organizations including CASH, CAS Star, and GWC, was jointly founded by a number of scientific research institutes, incubators for science and technology, media from technological field, overseas teams and venture capital organizations, with an aim to usher in a bright future through hard technological innovation. The founding of the alliance is significant in promoting the development of innovative technology industry in China.
