CASH Attends “Future China Global Forum” and “South Asian Diaspora Convention”

 Mr. Wu Lebin, Chairman of CASH, attended the “Future China Global Forum 2016” and the “South Asian Diaspora Convention 2016” in Singapore during July 18th to 20th, 2016. He delivered speeches in both forums as a guest speaker, and was interviewed by the Singapore Branch of Xinhua News Agency. During the stay, the delegation also visited the Ministry of Education and Temasek, and met with representatives from Keppel Group, Sino-Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-Tech Island Development Corp. and other organizations. Mr. Wang Ge, Chairman of Oriental Scientific Instrument Import & Export (Group) Corp. (OSIC), accompanied Mr. Wu on this trip and also delivered speeches in both forums.

  In the “Future China Global Forum 2016”, Mr. Wu was seated in the VVIP section with other distinguished guests, including Mr. Teo Chee Hean and Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Ministers of Singapore, Mr. Chua Thian Poh, Chairman of Business China, and Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Chairman of Future China Committee. Mr. Wu delivered a keynote speech during the first plenary session – “Pursuing the Reform Agenda While Sustaining Growth”. He pointed out that, CASH, as a platform for industrial development and asset operation of CAS, is striving to build the IP-IPO Canal, and promote industries related to quantum, photon, ion, nanotechnology, healthcare, minisatellite, methanol and natural gas. CASH is contributing to China’s economic transformation by advancing science and technology and emerging industries. Other panelists expressed their agreement with Mr. Wu.

  In the “South Asian Diaspora Convention 2016”, Mr. Wu was invited as a panel speaker for the session “India-China Business: Collaboration for Mutual Growth”. He stated that, CASH is considering cooperation with Indian companies in the new gas industrial chain; China and India have enjoyed a good partnership in developing IC (Integrated Circuit), and in this new era, two countries should work closely to build a bilateral tie of “IPC (India Plus China)”, and so as to build a community of a shared future with other neighboring countries. His remarks were well received by other panelists and the audience.

  This visit to Singapore registered a lot of achievements. CASH expressed its development philosophy to Southeast Asia and showed the potential of China’s sci-tech economy. There will be follow up actions to carry out cooperation with various organizations, and to achieve solid progress.
